Jan 17: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Primary Bourses
 
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies closed up on Tuesday following the primary bourse HOSE. Liquidity plunged.

The index gained 0.16 point or 0.48% to close at 33.62.The gauge started with the given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume fell to 59,100 shares changed hands for VND0.24 billion, compared with 412,330 units for VND4.73 billion on Monday trading.

The market breadth was positive with 16 gainers, 8 losers, 5 unmoved and the rest untraded.

HDM was the biggest gainer today, adding VND1,500 to hit the ceiling at VND16,500 with 100 shares traded.

DNS was the biggest loser today, falling VND800 to close at VND7,700 on a trade of 100 units.

NOS was the most active stock today with 11,200 shares traded. Its prices gained VND100 to hit the ceiling at VND1,500/unit.

Foreigners bought 8000 BTW shares today.
