Jan 18: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Official Bourses
 
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies closed up on Wednesday following the official bourses . Liquidity improved.

The index gained 0.04 point or 0.12% to close at 33.66.The gauge started with the given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume increased to 89,500 shares changed hands for VND0.31 billion, compared with 59,100 shares changed hands for VND0.24 billion on Tuesday trading.

The market breadth was positive with 21 gainers, 4 losers, 3 unmoved and the rest untraded.

NBW was the biggest gainer today, adding VND1,400 to hit the ceiling at VND15,800 with 100 shares traded.

SHP was the biggest loser today, falling VND400 to hit the floor at VND4,100 on a trade of 400 units.

NOS was the most active stock for the second day today with 31,100 shares traded. Its reference price is VND1,400/unit.

Foreigners bought 14900 BTW, 1300 PSP shares today.
