SCIC Fulfills 45% Revenue Target in 2011
 
State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) generated a revenue of of VND254 billion in 2011, meeting 45% of the year target and fall 30% from 2010, the Dau Tu Chung Khoan reported, citing SCIC’s data.

By the end of 2011, SCIC successfully sold its shares in 85 companies (of which it sold all stake in 78 ones) and earned VND810 billion versus VND423.4 billion par value. Of the sum, SCIC got VND132.9 billion from selling stake in 22 enterprises which SCIC planned to close position in 2010 but only completed the deals and recorded results in 2011.

In 2011, total number of companies in the list of capital withdrawal was 304. Currently, SCIC has 349 enterprises of group C (to be divested), accounting for 77.7% of the number of enterprises and 16% of SCIC’s portfolio investment.
