Feb 22: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Official Bourses
 
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 127 unlisted public companies closed up on Wednesday after a single day of loss, following official bourses. Liquidity edged up.

The index gained 0.36 point or 1.05% to close at 34.75.The gauge started with the given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume edged up to 5,406,800 shares changed hands for VND265.57 billion, compared with 5,046,333 shares changed hands for VND242.47 billion on Tuesday trading.

The market breadth was positive with 18 gainers, 12 losers, 5 unmoved and the rest untraded.

GDW was the biggest gainer today, adding VND1,400 to close at VND25,800 with 1,000 shares traded.

GTH was the biggest loser for the second day today, falling VND800 to hit the floor at VND7,600 on a trade of 500 units.

NHN was the most active stock for the third day today with 5,300,000 shares traded. Its reference prices were VND49,000/unit.

Foreigners bought 9900 BTW shares, 6800 NBW shares today.
